CSCS have accepted the Site Safety Plus Health and Safety Awareness (one day) Course as an alternative to the QCF qualification.
The 1 day course is supported by the Safe Start (GE707) publication, and there is an end of day examination. The certificate has a five year life, and the Green Card can be applied for as long as the certificate is in date at the point of application.
Once we are in receipt of the course assessment reports a note will be added to the delegate record advising of their pass. Delegates will also need to pass the CITB HS&E Operative Test before they can request their Green Card. This course can also be sat at our approved CITB ITC Centre on site.
Upon successful completion of this course, a natural progression would be the Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) course.
This course is delivered over one day.
