As people come in all shapes and sizes, it is very unlikely that one size of RPE will fit everyone. Face Fit Testing ensures that the equipment chosen is suitable for the individual wearer.
Some work activities may result in harmful substances contaminating the air in the form of dust, vapour, gas or fumes.
Examples of this would be:
-When cutting materials such as wood or stone
-When using a product that contains volatile solvents
-When handling a dusty powder
-When welding stainless steel
Candidates will receive training on Qualitative Face Fit Testing covering the wear, care, use and maintenance of the UVEX FFP3 silv-air 2310/2312 filtering face masks, using the Taste Testing Method.
The duration is 4 hours depending on the candidates understanding.
Number of Students:
The Maximum number of students is 12 per manual class.

Assessment and Certification:
Students will be assessed by fully trained and accredited fit 2 fit trainers.
